Job Summary:
As a Cryogenic Technician, you will be responsible for the Maintenace of cryogenic liquid & gaseous equipment and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these cryogenic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, & mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain cryogenic systems in compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on cryogenic equipment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cryogenic systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Handle the loading, transport, and unloading of cryogenic liquids safely.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and stick welding equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the technical sales team to provide support on cryogenic system installations.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
- Adhere to high voltage and low voltage protocols when working on electrical components.
- Utilize HVAC knowledge to ensure proper ventilation and cooling of cryogenic systems.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Familiarity with tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and stick welding equipment.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility handling cryogenic liquids.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Understanding of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate must be able to learn and think on their feet. Requires computer proficiency including but not limited to; Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, internet searches, handheld data entry devices and usage of GPS device. Job includes safely operating a company service truck in all types of weather. Similar jobs lean toward HVAC technician.
