We are looking for a Junior Underwriter to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth evaluations of residential investment properties, assessing market trends, and identifying investment opportunities. Your ability to understand investor needs, risk tolerance, and the housing market dynamics will be key to your success in providing customized loan options .

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Property Analysis : Conduct detailed evaluations of residential investment properties, including valuation, market comparisons, and future growth potential.
• Market Trends : Stay updated on housing market trends, identifying shifts in values and emerging investment opportunities.
• Investor Profiles : Understand investor needs and risk tolerance, providing customized loan solutions for prospective borrowers & wholesale partners.
• Data Analysis : Use advanced tools and data analytics to evaluate property performance and assess market conditions.
• Reporting : Prepare comprehensive reports, including valuation summaries and market analysis, to effectively display loan-level findings.
• Collaboration : Work closely with loan processors and account executives to ensure alignment on collateral assets, risk tolerance, and guideline compliance.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience with analytics, preferably in real estate appraisal, real estate asset valuation, or investments.
• Strong understanding of housing market dynamics, property values, and investment trends.
• General knowledge of the mortgage industry and its functionality, specifically hard-money lending, is a plus.
• Proficient in data analysis.
• Confident decision maker with strong ability to articulate decisions effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
