Position Summary:
The Café Assistant is responsible for providing assistance to the Café Manager on Sundays, Wednesday, and special events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist the Café Manager in the café on Sunday mornings
Assist the Café Manager in preparing and serving meals on Wednesday nights when “Wednesday Night at Fellowship” is meeting
Build relationships with volunteers and help identify potential team leaders
Help make breakfast burritos once or twice a month
Help Café Manager with processes in the café
Assist the Café Manager in supervising and training the café volunteers
Assume critical responsibilities in the absence of the Café Manager
Assist with cleaning, organizing, and general maintenance of kitchen equipment
Assist with providing refreshments for large church events when needed
Other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge and Skills:
Committed to Fellowship’s mission, values and beliefs
Initiates well on their own anticipating needs
Is hardworking and is willing to check things off the list
Able to balance multiple tasks in an effective and efficient manner
Serves and interacts well with volunteers, members and guests
Serves and operates well in team environment
Can organize details and communicate them well

Handle confidential information in a Christ like and professional manner
A heart to serve the Lord and grow his Kingdom
If not a member of Fellowship Bible Church, will commit to going through the membership process
Regular involvement in Fellowship Bible Church activities and events
Signed acknowledgement of Fellowship Bible Church’s “Confession of Faith” form
Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in Fellowship Bible Church’s Employee Manual
Living out the spiritual principles outlined in the “Code of Conduct”

Work Schedule:
15-20 hours per week
