As a Pipe Apprentice, you will assist with the assembly, layout, installation, and maintenance of HVAC pipe systems. Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
Job Duties
• Assist with preparation, fabrication, installation, and fitting of pipe to specifications
• Assists with the installation of chilled, hot and steam piping
• Assist with the installation of valves, hangers, supports, and flanges inside HVAC piping systems
• Prepare pipe and fittings for hoisting and rigging
• Basic use of hand and power tools
• Able to work off ladders, man lifts and other equipment from various heights
• Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned
Requirements
• 1 or more years of experience working with the HVAC piping trade preferred
• Current/valid Apprentice license in applicable state
• Experience welding on carbon steel preferred
• Willingness to learn to read blueprints and shop drawings
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and ability to read a tape measure
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (company will provide if needed)

• Requires basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills
• Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed
• Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs

Wage Range Starting at: $16.00+/hr. based on qualifications & experience
