Operations Senior Associate
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid - Remote/Office)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Senior Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be a key player in supporting the growth and development of our portfolio companies. Working closely with senior team members, you'll help drive performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and participate in initiatives that create value across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate directly with general managers and senior leadership at portfolio companies to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives that align with company goals.
Provide support in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation processes.
Partner with our investment team to monitor and evaluate portfolio company performance and strategic plans.
Identify process improvements and advise on strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability across sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive change by implementing effective operating systems.
Spend time on-site at portfolio companies to gain an in-depth understanding of their operations and collaborate on multi-year growth strategies.
Work with external vendors and consultants to support short-term projects and performance improvements as needed.
Prepare quarterly and annual reports for investors, as well as other analyses and ad-hoc reports.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience (5+ years) in Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or in an operational role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong academic background with demonstrated success in previous roles.
Expertise in operational systems (e.g., Entrepreneurial Operating System) and a solid understanding of accounting, finance, and capital structures.
Experience creating financial models to evaluate growth plans and initiatives.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior management.
A strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to travel periodically to portfolio company locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in vendor or supply chain management and optimization.
Familiarity with sales, marketing, and digital advertising strategies.
Previous work experience in industrial manufacturing settings.
