Position DescriptionKorsmo Construction is looking for a Project Engineer in our Tacoma office.
Korsmo Construction has been around since the late 1940’s and serves clients throughout the greater Puget Sound Region. We define service as providing a positive, professional, and lasting experience to those we work for as well as to those we work with.
Our Project Engineer provides support to Project Managers and Superintendents and ensures project start-up, construction, and project closeout documentation are accurate, timely, and professional, such that all contract and client requirements are met or exceeded. Also maintains and organizes project records, contract documents, and project history, and always keeps updated critical information available for the project team. Also assists project leadership in maintaining overall project safety. The Project Engineer is a dedicated, proactive, trustworthy, and detailed individual who is involved with subcontractors, team members, design professionals, and clients daily.
The position is fulltime (40 hours), and the salary range is $70,000-$90,000 per year depending on experience.

Position RequirementsPosition requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field,
or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to interpret and understand design documents and specifications. Also requires understanding of construction law, project management practices, and essential building tasks and sequences. Must have competency in MS Windows as well as MS Office365.
