CDH Japan is an accounting firm specializing in providing comprehensive tax and financial services. Description of the Role: As a Tax Staff member at CDH Japan, you will play a crucial role in our organization. You will be responsible for assisting with various tax-related tasks and providing support to our clients in Japan. This position is located in Nagoya, Japan. Job details

Preparation of US individual income tax return particularly for Japanese clients
Drafting a response letter to a tax notice
Computer-based tax research
Correspondences with clients for questions and issues
Communication with CDH US Tax Dept.
Communicate proactively with clients and respond to their requests with a Five Star Service attitude
Payroll gross up work

Expected personal responsibilities

Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills while performing accurate planning, goal setting, prioritization, and project management for multiple concurrent projects
Developing long-term constructive and collaborative relationships in the workplace
Participation in regular vocational training
Maintain and develop knowledge in assigned field (U.S. personal tax)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or MBA in a field related to accounting
A plus if you have a valid CPA license (not required)
TOEIC score 700 or higher
