Job Description
Phoebe Health System is looking for a vibrant Wellness Manager. This role serves as employee Wellness Manager for PPHS and HealthWorks facility manager. Lives a wellness lifestyle, manages all aspects of the regional wellness and wellness center including overall staff supervision, staff practices and retention strategies, continuing education, facility inventory, evaluation overall center policies and procedures. Provides high levels of customer service to members, clients, vendors, and fellow employees. In collaboration with System Director of Benefits, designs, implements and evaluates programs, offerings and actions intended to improve the health status of the health system.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, Health Promotion, or related field (Required)
Master's Degree in related field (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
2 - 3 years Strategic program planning ;; implementation in the health promotion or corporate wellness field (Required)
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
Required Certifications/Licensures: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid certification within 30 days of start date
Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Certified by a nationally recognized organization such as: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Cooper Institute of Aerobic Research (CIAR), National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
