*THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE WITH 30% GROUND TRAVEL AROUND THE GREATER CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA AREA. MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA*

Our client is a national engineering services firm who provides end-to-end engineering, design, and integrated services to the power, oil & gas pipeline, and gas distribution industries across the country. They are looking to add Right of Way Agents to their growing team. The Right of Way Agent’s main purpose is to assist the Right of Way (ROW) Department in determining the need for and acquiring valid right of way documentation for the construction, reconstruction, relocation, or improvement of electrical, pipeline and communication facilities.

Main Tasks :

• Talk to property owners to get agreements for using their land.
• Travel within eastern and central Pennsylvania to meet landowners.
• Research property ownership and negotiate deals.
• Keep everyone updated on project status.
• Prepare and file necessary documents.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.

Required Skills & Experience

• Candidate should have excellent public relations and communication skills and the ability to work comfortably and cooperatively with people of all walks of life.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including SharePoint, Word and Excel.
• Familiar with work management tools, and related technologies such as GIS and Google Earth.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external teams and work with a flexible approach with the ability to adapt to changing conditions and priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time during busier periods.
• Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory record.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Certified Notary
• Prior Right of Way experience

Compensation:

Up to $25/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Healthcare benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, financial protection benefits, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options. 401k retirement account access is offered starting on the 90th day with employer matching after one year of service.
