Our ideal applicant has multi-property, multi-brand experience and is a proactive seller, leader, innovator, and hard worker with 5+ years of sales experience. • Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers
• Deliver previous and upcoming week's sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales-related expenses
• Solicit new guests with targeted outbound sales initiatives, such as personal calls to your network and phone solicitations to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups that will generate new revenue
• Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast
• Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives

Qualifications:

• Must be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft Office
• Must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales through lead-generation and closing
• Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills
